The Clothing Exchange Project first debuted in June 2009. Planners Cecily Mathis and Tricia Waldron started working together on the first project in mid-March of 2009. Both from a background in Marketing, Advertising and Event Planning, joined forces to put on Palm Beach County's first clothing exchange, and now onto the second one. The events are designed to facilitate the exchange of new, barely worn items with others creating environmentally, budget concious shopping events. The is also an opportunity to give to local charities which makes these events also a great fit for community organizers, fundraisers and those looking for the alternative to galas and dinners to raise funds.Cecily Mathis, a West Palm Beach resident for over 23 years has been involved in several different business ventures including being an independent distributor with Premier Designs High Fashion Jewelry and running her own graphic layout & design business, Drums Lights & Smoke Creative Design.Tricia Waldron, president of Vassels Events & Marketing has had a passion for event planning and the travel industry for over a decade.
