Developing skills and capabilities around technology helps us makes sense of how the world works.The Coding Club aims to connect with citizens, introduce them to coding, and encourage them to learn more about technology. Working hand-in-hand with and on the same principles as Coder Dojo in Ireland, we will invite young people to get acquainted with coding, improve their coding and communications skills, unleash creativity, develop entrepreneurship, social interaction, team work, etc.Youngsters will be coached to develop games, apps, websites, robots, VR, videos, art, 3D-printing, etc. in a collaborative environment.Like Dojos, the Coding Club is set up, run and led by volunteers.The first meeting has taken place in the South of Brussels (Uccle, Saint-Gilles, Forest) in mid-November.
