The Collective is a professional, collaborative ensemble consisting of dancers & choreographers who share the mission to further develop dance as an art form. Established in 1999, The Collective currently houses 17 company members who work collaboratively to produce new work in the Baltimore region. The Collective offers bi-weekly modern dance classes for company members and for the public on Sunday mornings (10-11:30am) and Tuesday evenings (6:30-8:00pm). In addition to producing two major annual events, The Collective is often invited to perform at various events & venues throughout Baltimore, DC, Philadelphia and New York.
