the Council of Asian People have provided a setting for integration and social advancement through a community centre, open to all. We recently changed our name from the Asian Centre to The Community Hub Haringey. The Hub now works with the wider community including new migrants providing a setting for integration and social advancement. The Centre campaigns for health awareness, especially in the areas that affect the community, promotes learning, provides emotional belonging as well integration, and assist people in distress..We run activities and support services that improve people's health and wellbeing, and have an open door drop-in for anyone who needs advice. Some of our main services include Adult Day Care Service, Advice and Information, Heritage Projects, Community Transport, Luncheon Club and Health and Well-being activities ranging from Yoga, Bollywood Dance to English language classes and IT Classes. We also work with Middlesex and Kingston Universities to provide placement for Social work students, who in turn support our service users
