The Group's sectoral strategy focuses on the Water, Energy and Mining sectors, with a high degree of commitment in Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility. The Conceptium® Group works in partnership with US technology manufacturers, commercial banks and with export credit agencies. The Group is developing syndications and lead arranging capabilities with a specialized team, possessing extensive expertise and a wealth of experience, uniquely dedicated to infrastructure projects. The Group has now developed a representation portfolio of US manufacturers of development technologies, among which are the USA's largest manufacturers of dredges, geotextiles for coastal erosion, airborne photogrammetric cartography, diver deployed bathymetrics, deep water hydraulic pumping systems for environmental cleanups, and wave & wind generated energy technologies. The Group was launched as an international development consultancy in 2005 by R. Stefan Templeton, an expert in complex emergencies. During his extensive missions in disaster and war affected areas he developed a vision of transferring US know-how to mitigate the sources of conflict. The engineering adversity he faced in the field also meant that there was a huge opportunity to bring advanced skills and technologies to high-risk markets on the African continent that were under served by traditional US engineering firms.
