Health, Wellness & Fitness - North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Bringing together two distinct practices (personal training and nutrition) as well as two distinct educational backgrounds (communications and cognitive science); Janette Mason and Catrina McCrae form the Connection Project BC (TCP). TCP offers a truly holistic expression of mental and physical health that is not currently seen in the wellness industry. Presenting from personal experience and clinical practice, TCP seeks to teach attendees movement and nutrition-based solutions for reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression. The methods discussed help to foster confidence in the attendees' own natural and intrinsic abilities to care for themselves wholly; body and mind.TCP has presented this integrative workshop for a variety of organizations, including the Institute of Holistic Nutrition, Right to Play, the Canadian Nurses Union and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA). Their workshops are tailored to that specific organization, to ensure the attendees receive the most value for their wellbeing possible.
