Primary/secondary Education - Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
The Consent Project provides third party education on sexual consent, assault, and other sexual offences throughout schools in Queensland. It is a program driven by a passion for education and youth empowerment, enabling our partner schools to offer their students insight that is delivered by professionals who are passionate about this issue.TCP understand that whilst there is a growing awareness of the importance of educating young people about consent, there is a paucity of resources and/or expertise to tackle this area of education. TCP seeks to address this gap in sexual education through the provision of a thoughtful and comprehensive seminar on the ins-and-outs of consent, communication, sexual behaviour, and technology. Schools that engage TCP to support their students to make educated and informed decisions about sexual behaviour, offer a point of difference in their health education program and support their students to equip themselves with awareness and understanding of the legal and psychological sequelae of sexual behaviour.
