Isn't it interesting that an artist dubs him or herself with the same title that is used to refer to God? Creator. In that similarity, lies the true calling of every artist. St. John Paul II's Letter to Artists states, "With loving regard, the divine Artist passes on to the human artist a spark of his own surpassing wisdom, calling him to share in his creative power." As artists, and specifically, as filmmakers, we are called to create work that captivates the human mind and soul by speaking the truth of our faith. So, the big question is, "How do we do this?"That's why I made this blog.My name is Ariel Gade. I'm an actress and producer, and I have been working in the entertainment industry for over a decade. But I'm still learning this business as I go, same as you. However, I want to share whatever advice I can offer, and my hope is to create a community where we can share not only our faith but our love of filmmaking with each other.
