Restaurants - İstanbul, İstanbul, Turkey
The Crepe Escape was founded on an alley of Bağdat Street in İstanbul in March, 2014, by Leyla ÖZBAYRAM, who graduated from International Relations Department of Bilkent University, Russian Language Department of Moscow State University, then Restaurant Management Department of Culinary Arts Academy, as an entrepreneurship move in order to bring a breath of fresh air into the cafe culture which has recently become banal in Turkey, as a result of her long observations on cuisine cultures in Europe and the US and spending time there. In brief, the Crepe Escape is a ‘Crepe Cafe', aiming to make our visitors feel at home away from a fabricated system, together with its unique sweet or salty crepes and pancakes, the products consumed with pleasure in many countries but not that known in Turkey, and accompanying quality teas and coffees.
