Leading the Way to a Low Carbon SocietyThe Crichton Carbon Centre is an independent, not-for-profit, applied research body which is focused on the challenges and benefits of transitioning to a low carbon society. The Centre has a broad network of collaborators in the scientific, educational and government communities and a track record of successful project management in sustainable development. Areas of FocusThe Centre is focused on three key areas: rural land management, rural sustainable development and innovative forms of renewable energy. We run a number of projects which either take direct action and achieve real results in sustainability or provide academic insight for the wider sustainability landscape.
