ABOUTThe Demi Foundation is an extension of the heart and will of a special girl. In 2011 Demi was 5 years old and underwent emergency brain surgery as a result of a bleed on her brain stem. Demi endured a stay in the Johns Hopkins PICU and Intense Therapy at Mt. Washington Pediatric Hospital. The character of this little girl shined in the most surprising moments. She had great support from family and friends...however, she preferred that her gifts be given to the other children in the PICU that didn't have gifts and/or parents with them. Also, during her stay at Mt. Washington her concern was never with herself, but with the other children that were there. If she saw a child crying, she asked if they were OK and where there mom or dad was. She has the biggest heart and through this foundation it will grow even bigger.MISSIONThe Demi Foundation is dedicated to the support of Pediatric Medical Care and Research as well as those children and families that are affected.
