The Digital Social is a free event to bring together Brisbane's digital industry in a casual way. We mainly just want to get everyone together for a beer. Along the way, we'd like to shine a light on some of the best digital stories which often go under the radar and connect good people for better outcomes. We hold events 2 to 3 times per year, usually at a pub and often at short notice. We'll make sure we have some interesting guest speakers to get the conversation flowing but the rest is up to you. The Digital Social began in 2017 when Chris Chambers and Nathan Bush wanted to catch up for a kind-of-work-related beer. They put it out to their network to see if anyone wanted to join them and ended up getting 70 people show up. Based on the success of the first event, Troocoo came aboard as a partner and have helped ensure that the Digital Social is well organised and catered for!
