The Diversity Project Details
The Diversity Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting Compassion through Diversity, Education, and Understanding of the LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) community.The Diversity Project is a three phase project currently in development. The first phase saw Calan Breckon going back to his old high school of Centennial to set up a GSA/Diversity Club for the students. Creating an environment of education, understanding, compassion and diversity this phase is already well underway with two weekly meetings happening at the school.The Second phase is an Independent Documentary film based around the creation of this Gay-Straight Alliance (GSA)/Diversity Club at Centennial high school in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada. The third phase will be to take The Diversity Project on the road doing live presentations. After filming finishes on the documentary plans for a travelling presentation will move into the spotlight.
