Civic & Social Organization - Toronto, Ontario, Canada
The Do Good Collective was started by Grace Churchill and Joanna Cotton shortly after the pandemic hit North America in 2020. Looking around us and seeing so much pain, we realized that we shared a common hunger to help change so many broken parts of our world. This time in history presents an opportunity for all of us to make a conscious choice about what we want to leave behind, and what we take forward to be the best version of ourselves, and for our friends, family, and communities. We believe that every one of us is a leader and as leaders, every one of us has a responsibility to help change our world for the betterWe believe in the power of women supporting each other, lifting each other up and inspiring each other to take a stand for what mattersWe believe that you cannot serve others from an empty vessel. Make time and commit to filling your own cup.We believe that doing good in the world is a combination of both mindset and action. We believe in the healing power of radical compassion - towards ourselves and each otherWe believe that we are hard-wired for connection and it's a basic human need to belongWe believe that women are longing for safe, courageous spaces where we can get messy and real.We believe that now is the time and we are the ones!
