The Downtown School is an independent, co-educational high school located near Seattle Center. The school offers a high-quality academic education to a diverse body of academically talented students. Students of The Downtown School are members of a tight-knit community: At full enrollment, the school will serve 160 students in grades 9-12. Students work closely with a core group of teachers with outstanding experience and credentials, as well as a passion for educating young people.Tuition for the 2019-2020 school year is $18,200 – well below that of most independent schools in the greater Seattle area. Financial aid is available, with awards ranging from $1,000 to $18,000.
