The 'Efroni' choir was established in the Ben Gurion Educational College in Emek Hefer in 1981 on the initiative of Maya Shavit.The children in the choir, aged 9-18, come from all areas of Emek Hefer and represent a wide section of the Israeli population.The repertoire of the choir includes a variety of styles from the Renaissance to contemporary, in various languages and much Israeli music: original compositions, traditional songs from the various ethnic groups in Israel, and arrangements of Israeli songs.
