The Entrepreneurial Mind (TEM) is my concept of giving back. My name is Jay Tokosch, and I am what is considered a serial entrepreneur. My goal with TEM is to help others understand what it takes to realize their dream of becoming their own boss. Using my experience, along with others, TEM will provide various forms of content, advice, and inspiration to understand what is needed to accomplish this dream. Sharing entrepreneurial minds will help you understand the path, create and execute a plan, and gain knowledge to succeed in your endeavor. While I plan to have other entrepreneurial minds join me as part of this learning experience, below is my background:I am the CEO and founder of NoteAffect. I have a successful track record of creating technology startups and scaling them into profitable companies. My primary experience is with bootstrapping companies, although I do have some experience with funding companies through venture capital. I typically like to build companies using disruptive innovation technologies from the ground up rather than jumping into existing markets with a new offering. Before starting NoteAffect, I started and successfully exited four (4) of my previous companies and brought two (2) companies to completion. NoteAffect is my seventh(7th) creation. It has been awarded CIO Review's 20 most promising education tech companies for 2019, and Acquisition International's Most Outstanding EduTech application for 2020. I am the former CEO and Co-founder of Core-apps, a ten-year-old technology company that provides software for the event industry. Core-apps was sold to Community Brands/Insight Venture Partners in March of 2019. Before the sale, Core-apps was listed by SaaS Magazine as the 785th top SaaS company in 2018. Prior to Core-apps, I was CEO of AV1 Studios, a manufacturer of audio-video equipment for residential and mobile solutions. As part of founding AV1 Studios, I also established AV1 studios as a publicly-traded company (AVOP).
