Located in the heart of India's commercial capital city, the Eros Cinema has been a stalwart in the film exhibition business for over 75 years.Having stood the test of time, from when it first opened its gates to movie patrons in 1938, the Eros Cinema has held numerous film premiers. In addition to these the cinema has hosted art exhibitions, cultural film festivals such as the Kala Ghoda Film Festival and has provided the backdrop for blockbuster Bollywood films and documentaries the likes of "Once upon a time in Mumbai" and "Shakespeare, India and Me – hosted by Felicity Kendall and produced by the BBC." The cinema regularly hosts celebrities, VIP's, filmmakers and government bodies at its preview screen for private events and functions.
