The Esop Shop provides comprehensive and expert advisory services on the design and establishment of Employee Share Ownership Plans (ESOPs)and other broad based empowerment trusts.Our sole focus is to help our corporate clients comply with broad based black economic empowerment(BBBEE) imperatives in a way that simultaneously aligns their strategic business objectives with employee ownership priorities. Because we know how business works, but also understand the needs of organized labour, we design ESOPs in ways that align employee interests (wealth distribution) to company performance (bottom line results) The Esop Shop has designed over 25 ESOPs, including advising 8 of the top 20 listed companies on the JSE on theirs. Many of these ESOPs are also independently managed by The Esop Shop. We manage ESOP's on behalf of over 150 000 beneficiaries.Because The Esop Shop is the only ESOP advisory and plan management company that enjoys the confidence of business, organised labour and government, we are often approached by regulators to advise on policy.
