The Field Center for Children's Policy, Practice & Research brings together experts in child welfare to dream big and impact the lives of abused and neglected children through our progressive, interdisciplinary approach. We are child-centered, forward thinking, and committed to improvement.Our leaders include some of the nation's foremost experts in child welfare—visionary faculty, staff, students and fellows from the University of Pennsylvania's renowned Schools of Social Policy & Practice, Law, Medicine and Nursing, and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Together, these leaders collaborate on reforming the systems that are responsible for protecting children.We are the only university-based child welfare center in the nation that integrates the work and knowledge across these disciplines to remedy the ills of child maltreatment and to bring about systematic change, protect children, save lives and impact generation after generation.
