The Fjordhammer Project is an online community project that aims to create a positive, inclusive and safe environment in which people can share how their passions have helped them with their mental health. These stories are designed to help those who are struggling, and to help inspire them to keep pursing what they love to do. After Tom's music reviewing was spread across Distorted Sound, Noizze and RAMzine, Fjordhammer became redundant. The Fjordhammer Project is the rebirth of the blog, hence why we have a Robin as our emblem, as a sign of rebirth and is symbolic of growth in personal and spiritual life. Bringing together musicians, writers, historians and a whole plethora of other people from creative and diverse backgrounds, this project is something Tom wants to give back to the community that helped him through his darkest times. The last few years have been significantly hard on many people, and the continuing negativity is detrimental and draining. It is the hope of The Fjordhammer Project to create a small pocket of positivity to help people be inspired, grow and thrive.
