The FoodATM is an endeavour by closely-knit like-minded devout individuals across the corporate and student fraternity that capitalizes on social wellbeing for invigorating the potential prowess across the forsaken segments of our society. The FoodATM is an electronic kiosk that aims to mobilize untouched excess food that's disposed otherwise on an unimaginable scale, which can't be devised in numbers. The same is ensured to reach the correct end through a network of such kiosks, a mobility van and several food partners. What started as one food ATM has now grown to three across the city. The first one came up opposite Ladies Park on CIT Road, the second one the E M Bypass at Uttarpanchanna Gram; and the third, inside Ramleela Maidan, off Moulali. The FoodATM is an initiative designed with the purpose of ending hunger in Kolkata. If you have extra food, please don't throw that away. Instead, donate it at The FoodATM. Someone else can enjoy at least one decent meal.Altogether, the three food ATMs serve almost 2,000 people each day. We strive for a #HungerFreeNation.
