One of the most respected music venues in London and an inspirational and highly versatile venue for all kinds of events for 30 to 300 people.The Forge boasts an incredibly diverse musical programme, ranging from classical, jazz, world and folk music to the latest bands and club nights. It also embraces other genres such as spoken word and comedy.The Forge is a sustainable and architecturally-designed venue that has won both Civic Trust and RIBA Awards. This makes it an inspirational venue for events of all kinds from musical performances to corporate and private events. The venue regularly hosts conferences, seminars, meetings, presentations, workshops, launches and screenings as well as parties, receptions, weddings and social functions. It is also used as a film and photography location and its beautiful natural acoustics make it a much sought-after recording space.The building consists of the Main Space, the Indoor Courtyard, the Main Bar & the upstairs Foundry Room. These are flexible spaces which can be hired out individually or together, allowing the venue to cater for a wide variety of event needs. The Main Space is an acoustically designed venue perfect for concerts, screenings, recordings, rehearsals and presentations, seating up to 100 people with the acoustic wall closed. The Foundry Room is a beautiful informal area which can host up to 40 people seated or 80 standing, and ideal for parties, workshops and more informal presentations. The capacity of the full venue is 300 standing or 150 seated. The Forge is located in the heart of Camden Town, London, just a short walk from both Camden Town and Mornington Crescent stations. It has full disabled access.
