The Fountaineer LLC, specializes in commercial water feature design and consulting. It was started in 2006 by Mr. Russell Sitter who has worked in the the field of mechanical and plumbing engineering since 1994. Since the business began he has consulted on pool, splashpad, fountain and sculpture projects in 7 countries including Canada, Turks and Caicos, Macau and Iceland. Working under other general contractors, his highest profile projects completed to date include consulting on Poseidon's Hall at the Atlantis Six-Star Hotel and Resort in Dubai, Global Citizen's Plaza at Chapman University, the Arboretum & South Bed fountain at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino. In cooperation with a Kentucky Eagle Scout, Russell also designed a memorial fountain for the 49 victims of ComAir Flight 5191 that was installed in Richmond Kentucky in 2008. Russell Sitter is also an advocate for the National Model Aquatic Health Code, and water safety related issues.
