An affordable hotel with simple accommodations in the Kennebunkport area. Located on St. Anthony's Monastery grounds, the hotel offers rooms with queen, twin, or full size beds. Some rooms have bunkbeds. A few rooms have multiple rooms. A free continental breakfast is included with your stay. Each room has a private bathroom, mini-fridge, AC, cable TV, and free WiFi. An outdoor saltwater pool is open during peak season. Only a ten minute walk to the beach and to the village, the Guest House provides an inexpensive option for the area. Plain rooms, and simple amenities helps to encourage tranquility and peace away from the busy beaches or shopping areas. Young families, seniors and couples on a budget are all welcome here. The Monastery grounds are open to the public and guests. The landscaping was originally designed by the Olmsted Brothers. A plain English garden takes you to the riverside walking path where benches are provided to enjoy the local scenery or contemplate on the shrines dotting the paths. As a non-profit, all income goes back into the hotel to help improve the facilities for both hotel guests and religious groups who come in the off-season.
