As managing director and lead educator, her culinary medicine philosophy and Academy training for professionals centres on real food every day - no fads, just food! 25 years of practice brought her to specialise in mental health nutrition, weight management, ME/chronic fatigue, gut disorders, food addictions, hormone imbalances, cancer recovery, and making real food achievable and enjoyable.The Functional Food Coach Academy delivers training nationwide for mental health, fitness and complementary health professionals how to add diet and lifestyle assessment with achievable solutions to their client work for a truly holistic practice, allowing clients to better access treatments or therapies. Other services include Easy Start Eating Plans, courses, and targeted condition-specific starter packs, like the Happy Brain Series, are available to help people put nutritional healing into practise easily. Our Easy Start eating plans can be white labelled for health professionals who are looking for an established eating plan based around real food to offer their clients a foundational food reset for supporting physical and mental health.We run CPD, in-house services for staff health and wellbeing, produce handbooks/resources, courses/workshops in specific subjects, general healthy eating, or teach how good produce becomes delicious, healthy food! The Functional Foodie website is also a membership, course and recipe hub delivering health resources, recipes and advice to professionals and non-professionals alike that are easy to understand and implement.
