It is one of the formations of the Ministry of Electricity in Iraq that includes the electric Energy production sector in southern Iraq, where the formation of the General Company for Electric Energy Production / Southern contains eighteen electric Energy generation stations spread throughout the southern governorates and includes thermal and gas stations and diesel engine stations.Vision and objectives:The company's vision is to be an effective and contributing party in supporting the national economy in the field of electric energy production and the success of the national development plan by filling the actual need for electric energy in the country in sustainable and economically efficient means.It is the company's goals:1 - Providing the best electrical service to the company's customers2 - Maintaining the highest production capacity that the company can achieve in light of the current circumstances3 - Maintaining the continuity of the stations' operation and avoiding interruptions and controlling them as much as possible4 - Commitment to the instructions of preparation, installation and maintenance of all kinds, including the continuity of productive work and the preservation of available energy5 - Commitment to a clear system to control operations and the way employees implement this, each according to his responsibility6 - Raise the efficiency of performance and improve it for all workers in the ministry and stations (technicians and administrators)7 - Improving the stations' production capacity through replacement or renewal of some of their equipment8- Reducing or eliminating all kinds of losses9 - Commitment to quality, safety and environmental standards
