The Gift of Life Orlando Details
The Gift of Life is a 501 (c)3 whose primary goal is to Support the Parents of Premature Infants. The goal is to assist them to regain back what they have lost during and after their time in the neonatal intensive care unit. Studies have shown that parents of premature infants suffer from depression, anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. When parents of premature infants, according to the study, receive help, their stress levels decrease and they start to slowly ease into parenthood/married life. The Mayors of Orlando have agreed that more support is needed for our Orlando residents and surrounding cities. The Gift of Life looks forward to providing resources to parents by online, telephonic and/or in person services.
