The Global Change Project (GCP) (www.global-change.org) is an incubator for non-profit and social ventures aimed at sustainability and social justice. GCP engages graduate and undergraduate students as volunteer leaders in developing world changing projects, providing them with the opportunity to simultaneously build their resumes, gain real world experience, and make an impact before graduation. Developing collaboration models for volunteerism and social engagement utilizing crowdsourcing and cloud-based technologies, GCP seeks to develop resources and infrastructure for the rapid deployment of ideas that better the quality of life for all people.As an incubator for non-profit projects and social ventures, Global Change Project (GCP) develops cloud based collaborative systems, networks, and methodologies for the rapid deployment of world changing ideas. GCP promotes volunteerism and social engagement as a way of life and provides opportunities for college students to gain real world experience by taking leadership roles in innovative social and environmental projects.
