The Gold Star Journal promotes academic excellence at The Citadel through the publication of cross-disciplinary, nonfiction papers and creativity and ingenuity through the publication of photographs and photo stories. Selected nonfiction papers will demonstrate effective writing, research skills, and critical thinking. The Journal also showcases photographs that commemorate the life of Citadel students with this year's edition including photo stories that depict other experiences outside of traditional cadet life. The journal has a brand new editorial team consisting of two Co-Editors-in-Chief, an Assistant Editor-in-Chief, a Communications Editor, a Scribe Editor, a Logistics Editor, and a Marketing Editor. The Gold Star Journal is looking to increase its audience and collaboration while still exemplifying the value of The Citadel's leadership laboratory!
