The Golden Concepts is an e-commerce store that curates eldercare products to enable ageing well.The idea behind the company first started when co-founders Vanessa and Chang Xi went to Denmark on a student exchange programme during their university days. They observed Danish seniors embracing ageing and living life to the fullest, while not being limited by mobility challenges. Upon returning to their own elderly grandparents, they wondered – why not bring home this positive, independent culture surrounding the golden years? In 2011, they started The Golden Concepts._____At The Golden Concepts, we believe that mobility is key to ageing well. A loss of mobility often has profound consequences on a person's physical, social and psychological state. By maximising mobility, seniors will be able to continue to be fully engaged in their communities and enjoy a high quality of life. We curate eldercare products to enable ageing well._____Mobility is key to ageing well. Besides our ever-growing range of mobility aids, we also bring together products that enable us to create an age-friendly home to enable our loved ones to be safe and independent.We believe in building a community that is pro-active in learning and re-shaping the way we age in Singapore. This year, we launched our Virtual Series on Ageing Well, where we invite a wide array of speakers with expertise in the field of eldercare.
