Welcome to The Green Company (Recycling) Ltd, formerly known as SOVA Recycling Limited. We are a social enterprise company firmly rooted in values that support education and employment opportunities for those in need. In Partnership with Sheffield City Council and Veolia environmental services, we are responsible for providing waste recycling services across the 5 Household Waste Recycling Centres of Sheffield. We have a dedicated and experienced workforce focused daily on reducing the amount of waste that goes to landfill, and we are committed to delivering services through innovative partnerships which enhance services and opportunities for local communities. waste-recycling-centres There are 5 Household Waste Recycling Centres (HWRC's) in Sheffield. These are provided for Sheffield residents who dispose of household waste from their own home such as bulky items, garden waste, electrical or electronic equipment, furniture and lots more. Residents carrying out renovations or who have construction waste should hire a skip rather than take this to a HWRC. Residents visiting a HWRC in a van or with a trailer will need a permit or permission for a one off visit before being allowed on site.
