As part of Central Ohio not-for-profit Local Matters, we envision local, wholesome, delicious food as a way of life for all. We are, at our core, a social enterprise. We strive to create social value by improving the lives of individuals and our community through a harmony of dollars and programs. Through our work, we seek to answer three fundamental questions: • How much do you really know about the food on your plate? • How do we create the conditions for communities to feed themselves? • How does food connect us to the most important issues of our time? We believe that we can begin to answer these questions by: • Providing access to a diverse and delicious array of seasonal, Ohio-grown fruits, vegetables and artisanal goods.• Educating customers on the origins and cultivation practices of their food, and • Supporting Local Matters' peerless collection of community programs.
