The Greenhouse is the home base of Engineer, Producer, and Songwriter Sam McArthur. Combining artistic engineering techniques with deep technical knowledge, extensive synthesis and sound design experience with a passion for real instruments and performance, as well as a knack for musical storytelling and concise Pop songwriting, Sam is a jack-of-all-trades when it comes to music.Sam started playing guitar around the age of four, began to dabble in Electronic music early in High School, then after a brief detour to art school attended college for audio engineering and switched primarily to piano and keys along the way.His work can be heard on GoldenOak's Room To Grow (Mixing), Alex Preston's A Work In Progress (Tracking, Overdubs and Moog programming/performance), as well as on music by artists including Kimayo, Corey Lewin, Nicola Cipriani and Brad Myrick, Dakota Smart, and many others. He releases an equally diverse collection of his own music under the name CHG Music.
