The loss of the most loved person brought us to a halt with very little to be excited about. We, mother and daughter duo, decided to heal our grief with more intense care of as many people around us as we can. We started @TheGujjuThela to cook again, with care, with love. Our home-cooked Gujarati cuisine is prepared by a mother who now aspires to run a restaurant that everyone trusts as his/her own kitchen.The Gujju Thela was started in March, 2021 by a Mother-Daughter duo in Varanasi. We are two simple Indian women, who are trying to serve you with our love and care. The hands behind The Gujju Thela is Jyoti Parikh (the Mother, trying to make her own identity) and the brain behind the brand is Garima Parikh (the daughter, trying to support her mother in all plausible ways). The story for us has been simple, we are like any other ordinary women in any other household that plays the role of a mother, daughter, sister or wife.
