The Happieee Place (THP) is the first venture of Saeed Research Studio. It aims to be a space of positivity and solution. It is a platform to think, search, create and exhibit not just for adults but also for kids as we wish to equip them with practical skills and innovation from the very start. We encourage people from diverse fields such as medicine, arts, architecture, design, robotics, etc. to come together and work with us.THP is a getaway from ‘adulting' to learn, think and be productive. We often remind ourselves and others of the days we were younger, happy and had lesser responsibilities but as we grew up we forgot what it was to enjoy something. And yes, while happiness now may only seem like an absurd concept, we're hoping to try and change that!Located on Main Boulevard, Gulberg, you wouldn't expect THP to be so tranquil, so peaceful – oh, but it is. Surrounded by a big lawn, broad trees and a vintage tree swing is our one-story studio. The white walls compliment the contemporary, rustic feel of the setting with pops of colour here and there giving the calm environment a little kick of excitement and life. Set in the outdoors is our Garden Book Shop, which we have created by integrating our trees as a fun way to shelve books, take and read from while you enjoy your chai and biscuits.Within our walls exists Pakistan's first bindery which is open to our community. We understand the anatomy of a book, the importance of it as a physical object and the significance of expanding creativity of individuals, and so, every last Friday of the month, THP we will have a communal book binding evening which will be free and open to public.We also have a dedicated space, THP Gallery, for exhibiting and curating works that give a unique perspective of the maker, are thought-provoking and meaningful, and which introduce new ideas to the Pakistani audience. Existing inside the studio space is also our Tiffin, a small kitchen cum canteen, from where you can get a bite to eat with some coffee and sit on our customized, rustic table in the veranda to enjoy it.Moreover, THP will be holding national and international artist's, technologists, chef residencies in the near future. Open-mic nights, movie nights and several THP workshops for beginners, intermediate and advanced levels will be a routine as The Happieee Place continue to grow.
