Over our first 3 years of business, we have gained notoriety for our world-class lobster rolls, being named a Top 25 Lobster Roll in America by Yelp and Buzzfeed and Chicago's Best Food Truck by the Chicago Tribune. We are also one of two food trucks to ever be nominated for a Jean Banchet Award.The Happy Lobster was founded by three close friends who believe that you don't have to be blood to be family. Nothing brings family together like great food. In 2014, Alex Robinson, Tyler Cullitan, and Neal Bassett decided to leave their desk jobs for their dream of opening a food truck. Their mission: Bring people together through their love of the lobster roll.
