The Harbor School Houston assists at-risk children and families navigate toward a strong future by providing high quality early childhood education in a Christian environment.We are currently enrolling children aged two to five (2-5) years old. Our first location is opening in March 2021 on the campus of St. Thomas Presbyterian Church in Houston, Texas. We operate our program in a Christian environment and will use a center-based curriculum to support cognitive, spiritual, social, emotional and physical growth in our students. We will operate a full-day program, Monday through Friday, year-round (with the exception of certain holidays), which enables our parents to pursue education or employment opportunities during the day.Our goals for The Harbor School include:• Breaking the cycle of poverty in the West Spring Branch area of Houston by providing opportunities for young at-risk children to succeed in school and for their families to pursue education and/or employment;• Strengthening families within The Harbor School and the surrounding community; and• Developing capable, loving teachers.
