The Head Panda is based in San Francisco, CA, and was founded in 2010 when co-founders Jonathan Wong and Wesley Wong started selling panda hats at the San Francisco Giants opening day festivities 4/6/2010 on the 3rd St bridge next to AT&T park. As a result, the Head Panda has been credited for starting the panda hat craze in San Francisco, which has now expanded across the country. Their merchandise can be found at various stores around the Bay Area, zoos, as well as all the Giants Dugout stores.
