Previously a leading business strategist, mentor and company director, Helen is a pioneering functional nutrition specialist and health coach dedicated to empowering others to take control of their health.Helen holds a PhD in Engineering and a Masters of Science in Health Coaching. She demonstrates the critical ability to stimulate transformational health and wellbeing for her clients.Helen uniquely applies an engineering mindset to health challenges. Her number one goal for all her clients is to deliver them transformational health and wellbeing. Helen believes that the key to transforming health lies in supporting sustainable healthy diet and lifestyle choices that embrace each person's uniqueness.By focussing on the person first (and the diagnosis second) she has empowered male and female clients alike to improve their overall health, quality of life and confidence. Working with clients to improve chronic conditions, such as: endometriosis, irritable bowel disease, thyroid issues, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriasis, Covid-19, cancers plus many others who may not have a diagnosis but know they feel not themselves, lacking energy, foggy brain or living with chronic pain. Helen is a graduate in Functional Nutrition (USA-based training), an internationally certified Health and Wellness Coach and New Zealand's first Wahls certified health professional (specialist training in diets for autoimmune conditions). Helen's nutrition and health education has been from the leading functional nutrition, functional medicine and wellness coaching specialists in the USA. She has also completed a Masters of Science in Health Coaching from a New York based university.Helen also holds a PhD and first class honours degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Auckland. Helen lives in Remuera, Auckland with her husband of 20 years and two dogs. She is a lover of ballet, cooking, and time with friends and family.
