He speaks and reads fluent Mandarin Chinese and studied Mongolian Language and Literature at Inner Mongolia University, in China. The languages, cultures and philosophies of China fascinate him. You may find him reading the Dao, I Ching, or other Eastern and Buddhist texts in Chinese, while drinking green tea.Together, his individual experience of living in China for over 20 years, combined with the study of Chinese thought and traditional writings, he has achieved a profound understanding, within a Chinese thought process that exists on his American cultural foundation.
