As our goal has always been to improve the town's buildings and tax base, all of the buildings we own and or assist remain on the tax rolls at full assessed value! The Hunter Foundation has played a key role in rehabilitating over 100 homes and 35 businesses not just in Hunter but in surrounding Ashland, Jewett, Lexington, Prattsville and Windham. We have been responsible for over 12 million dollars put into the community. Jobs have been provided, local contractors used and we have helped to create businesses.
