Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India University, Dehradun (IUD) is a university in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. It was established through an Act of the State Legislature of Uttarakhand and is recognized by University Grants Commission (India) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act and achieved recognition for its academic delivery and industry-institute interface. IUD is also a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities, London. IUD is a member of The Association of Indian Universities.The IUD campus is situated at Selaqui, in Dehradun. It has 2,565,000 square feet (238,300 m2) of built-up area with academic blocks, workshops, laboratories, faculty rooms, auditorium, seminar halls, computer labs, library and other student facilities. The campus is capable of accommodating up to 3,000 students.The Faculty of Science and Technology (IcfaiTech, Dehradun) was ranked 81 and 83 in the Dataquest India's Top Engineering Colleges 2011 and 2012 respectively and 4th in India (Ahead several IITs and NITs) in terms of Industry Interface. It was ranked No. 44 and 38 in the limited CSR-GHRDC's Engineering Colleges Survey of 2012 and 2013 respectively gaining position in Top 15 Engineering Colleges in North India and in Top 25 Private Engineering Colleges in 2013 survey, In rankings of private institutes it was ranked 14 by the Electronics For You magazine's Top 50 Private Engineering Colleges.
