The iJournal is an open-access journal run by graduate students at the University of Toronto's Faculty of Information (iSchool). Our aim is to publish exemplary student research on the divergent topics of information studies, thereby fostering collective identity and interdisciplinary understanding among information students, faculty, and practitioners.Review ProcessReview is done anonymously by subject-matter experts and by associate editors, with reviewers and authors being unaware of one another's identities. Receiving and forwarding of manuscripts to reviewers is performed by one member of the Editorial Board who is not involved in making review decisions. All manuscripts are reviewed by at least two reviewers. Successful submissions are then assigned to members of the Editorial Board who assist authors in preparing a manuscript for publication. The quality of a manuscript is typically judged based on its originality, methodology, readability, style, ease of editing, and alignment with the iJournal's philosophy of interdisciplinarity.Open Access PolicyThis journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.Sources of SupportOur publication is hosted by Student Journal Publishing at University of Toronto Libraries, with support and advice provided by the Faculty of Information.
