The InterActivist was an Athens, Ohio-based magazine that covered social justice issues and regional progressive organizing from 2003 to 2016. For more than a decade, the publication served as a written platform for community activists and student progressives who were passionate about making the world a better place. This nonprofit was produced with support from Generation Progress (a unit of the Center for American Progress in Washington, D.C.), Ohio University's Student Activities Commission (SAC), reader donations, fundraisers and like-minded advertisers.
