Founded in Ottawa in 2012, The International has hosted over 30 events showcasing various cultures such as Latin American, Middle Eastern, Southeast Asian, Caribbean and Central African. The International's events are designed to engage guests in the culture, creating a participatory experience. Our Signature Events: --> Latin Sparks™ The International's staple summer event attracting over 5,000 attendees for a night of outdoor dancing and live entertainment – DJs, musicians, and performers. --> 1001 Nights™ An Arabian-themed gala where 1001 guests pass through a traditional bazaar (street market), enjoy live performances and dance the night away to Arabian music. --> Heat Wave™: In collaboration with the National Capital Commission, our annual dance-off brings a "heat wave" to Ottawa's Winterlude Festival as guests gather outdoors to dance to tropical rhythms in the middle of a Canadian winter.
