The unprecedented challenges currently facing the social impact sector highlight the need for focused, creative, and well-networked changemakers and purpose-driven leaders to help guide the sector forward. Through initiatives with the King Baudouin Foundation US; Hunter College, City University of New York; Nelson Mandela University; and the Arcus Foundation, The International Social Impact InstituteTM aims to amplify the voices of social impact leaders from historically marginalized communities (in the US and around the world), facilitate interactions among them and assist in training more of them. Through courses, events, consulting services and research initiatives, it further seeks to enhance such leaders' access to the kinds of resources, knowledge, and networks that will enable them to thrive despite the various obstacles they have so often encountered, as well as to increase the access of historically under-resourced social sector entities and organizations to funding opportunities.
