"The purpose of The Jackson Initiative, Inc., is to enhance the development of communities and its' members by driving awareness, creating connections, and sharing knowledge in the areas of learning, life skills, leadership, and service."Founded in 2011, The Jackson Initiative, Inc., is a not for profit organization established by parents, community members, advocates, educators and youth, with a goal of building better communities though community partnerships. Our goal is to Rethink, Redesign, and Rebuild better communities. The Jackson Initiative, Inc., is the vision of Founder Warren T. Jackson, Jr., who believes that "when communities, businesses, and government agencies work together, we can develop real-world solutions to the real-world problems we face". The Jackson Initiative, Inc., currently engages in programs, services, and partnerships that provide After School Tutoring & Enrichment Activities; Entrepreneur Training & Education; Health & Wellness Education; Leadership Development Training, Mentoring; Service Learning Education; as well as a host of other volunteer opportunities.
