The mission of the Jamin Fund is to pass on the character traits which exemplified the life of Jamin Buchanan Wilson by encouraging each of us to live life at the highest level – with consistency, integrity, enthusiasm, wisdom and joy, while helping others.The Jamin Fund is dedicated to funding educational and leadership initiatives throughout the world. As the fund is administered by The Community Foundation of Central Blue Ridge, a 501(c)(3) organization, all contributions are fully tax-deductible.The Jamin Fund bestows an annual award for leadership at Spangdahlem Air Base in Germany to acknowledge airmen and officers for outstanding quarterly and yearly performance. The fund also awards an annual scholarship to D'Evelyn High School students demonstrating an extraordinary commitment to inspiring belief in the importance of education and learning, encouraging good citizenship and personal responsibility, and fostering high standards of achievement in learning among young people.Additionally, The Jamin Fund has partnered with Free the Children, an organization that inspires young people to develop as socially conscious global citizens and become agents of change for their peers around the world through domestic empowerment programs and leadership training. The fund has also worked with Urban Peak to feed Denver's homeless youth.
