The Joyce Center is a full-service prosthetic, orthotic and rehabilitation facility. At The Joyce Center, individuals with an amputation or limb deficiency can fin quality prosthetics, orthotics, physical therapy, counseling and sports-specific training. Our patients are of all ages and levels of limb loss. The individuals making up this center have long recognized that fabricating comfortable, lightweight, durable, energy efficient prostheses is only a part of the equation to returning our patients to an active lifestyle. Another part is providing a physical therapy program, which includes immediate and aggressive gait training, functional muscle-strengthening exercises and aerobic conditioning. Patient and family education and the availability of individual and group support sessions for adolescents, adults and parents of children with limb deficiencies complete a program of total care.
